In 2018, California stepped up its harassment training law to include the requirement that all employees (for employers with five or more employees) be trained on workplace harassment, bi-annually, with initial training to be completed by January 1, 2020.

In response to these new laws, Syntrio has developed California Harassment training courses for both managers and non-managerial employees.

Thank you for your interest in Syntrio's training courses, Preventing Sexual Harassment. You can download the product sheet below.

These courses use engaging and entertaining scenarios and examples, as well as interactive guidance, to help an organization comply with the California laws and affect change in your organization’s culture for the better.

Managers are instructed on how to recognize and prevent harassment and retaliation and are provided detailed information about where to direct employees to report complaints, as well as ethical and legal obligations managers have to reduce harassment in business culture.

As a manager you will understand your responsibilities to prevent, recognize and resolve instances of suspected harassment at work.

The version provides employees with all of the required information on California harassment laws, but also provides information on what to do if an employee feels he or she has been harassed as well as pertinent information from a non-manager perspective.

As an employee you will understand your responsibilities to help promote a harassment-free workplace.
